You may think that trying to garden in a more enviromentally responsible way is hard work - but in our Resourceful Garden we have created a design that will encourage even the most part-time gardener to include some environmentally friendly concepts in their garden. Our urban garden demonstrated that there are many simple, effective and ecologically sound ideas available to help you maintain your plants more efficiently. Visitors saw how easy it was to incorporate 'green measures' into an attractive garden and discover that these systems need not detract from their enjoyment of the garden or take up too much time. Even in a garden this size, a small, well-managed vegetable patch can look marvellous and provides an enjoyable, life-long pastime - where you really can reap what you sow. Bill Howard |
